TR CU 010/2011 on the safety of machinery and equipment

The TR CU 010/2011 is devoted to the regulation of machines and equipment placed on the markets of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus.

The aforementioned technical regulation is not applicable to sectors such as medical, telecommunication, maritime, aerial, railway and militar.

The TR CU 010/2011 is often used in combination with other EAC regulations when taken as base for a EAC certification. In particular it is common to issue certifications according to this regulation, the TR CU 004/2011 on safety of low voltage equipment and the TR CU 020/2011 EMC.

The certification process according to the regulation TR CU 010/2011 can lead both to a Declaration EAC, following the certification schemes 1d, 2d, 3d, 4d, 5d, 6d; and to a Certificate EAC, following the certification schemes 1c, 3c,9c. Certification schemes are selected on the based of the validity of the certification, the product and the prospected use of the product itself.
