Through the description to follow, we are to give a general and, brief but complete overview of common situations and related Gost R and EAC certifications associated. It is not possible however to cover all the possible exceptions that may arise.

EAC certification for furniture, doors, windows, coatings and paints

The EAC certification process for furniture, doors, windows and coatings in Russia, unless is electrically powered, typically involved the attainment of the EAC Declaration. Besides this document other certificates may be required by the regulation, or by the client: for example a Mandatory Gost TR Fire Certificate for Russia, or a Voluntary Fire safety certification. Furthermore the Sanitary EAC certificate SGR may be required in cases of interaction with infants or due to the use of certain chemical compounds.

Technical Regulations TR CU applicable to the case of EAC Declaration for furniture, doors, windows, coatings and paints are:

TR CU 025/2012 on the safety of furniture and furnishings;
TR CU 007/2011 on product safety for children and teenagers

EAC certification for domestic lighting

The EAC certification process of chandeliers, lamps and other outdoor or indoor lighting, both fixed and mobile, in Russia typically involved the attainment of the Certificate EAC. Besides this document other certificates may be required by the regulation, or by the client: for example a Mandatory Gost TR Fire Certificate for Russia, or a Voluntary Fire safety certification.

Technical Regulations TR CU applicable to the case of EAC Certificate for chandeliers, lamps and other outdoor or indoor lighting are:

TR CU 004/2011 on the safety of low voltage equipment;
TR CU 020/2011 on electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices;

EAC certification for  household electrical appliances

The EAC certification process of ovens, refrigerators, stoves and other household electrical appliances in Russia typically involved the attainment of the Certificate EAC. Besides this document other certificates may be required by the regulation, or by the client: for example a Mandatory Gost TR Fire Certificate for Russia, or a Voluntary Fire safety certification. And in case of gaseous fuel  an extend EAC certificate in accordance with the related regulation

Technical Regulations TR CU applicable to the case of EAC Certificate for ovens, refrigerators, stoves and other household electrical appliances are:
